Well at least you did something very useful with the time you had to wait around! Man, I hate going in to renew a drivers license. Takes FOREVER usually. Actually I'm due to do that in a month or two, so I'm going to take my sketchbook with me now. Thanks for the idea! :)
I had actually gone there the day before at about 3PM and asked a cop standing around where the DPS office was.
He pointed me down a hallway, "but there's a 5 hour line ahead of you"
So I came back the next day at 9AM and and there was only a two hour wait.
